Howdy crafter!
I’m Samantha Brunson, the creator behind Bobble Club House, a self-proclaimed elderly millennial, teacher, storyteller, and maker who loves sharing the joy of crafting with the world.
I spent years running around New York’s Garment District as a knitwear sample maker for fashion houses including Donna Karan, Maggy London, and Bliss Lau, creating handmade pieces for runway shows, before starting my first company, SOSA Knitwear, in 2014, creating intricate handmade knitwear and crochet for designers’ couture and ready-to-wear collections.
Somewhere in the middle of all those long hours, I lost touch with the parts of myself that just wanted to play with glitter and glue all day.
Knitting pulled me out of my burnout, and that reset is what led me to launch Bobble Club House. I haven’t looked back since.
Today, alongside running this site, I write a knitting and DIY column for Modern Daily Knitting, design yarn kits in collaboration with Lion Brand Yarn, and host the Knitflix & Chill podcast. Alongside all of this, I’ve also spent close to ten years in marketing, first as a social media manager for brands, and now as the founder of Yes & Social LLC, helping other brands find their voice.
